How long will it take to receive my items?

 

As most of our items are personalised, we generally work between 5 and 10 business days.
This is product dependant, so some are much quicker than others!
There are estimated dates given for each product, so please be sure to check these.
Please also note that this is an estimated timeline, and every now and again orders may fall outside of these dates.
Transit times for shipping can also make delivery fall outside of these days, especially if you live far away from our production center.
If your order is for a special occasion that is right at the end of the timeline... please be sure to let us know upfront when ordering so we can factor in shipping times and make sure its delivered on time, in order to avoid disappointment.

*PLEASE NOTE Black Friday period, the shipping times may be longer, due to high volume of orders during this time.

 

Need an item urgently?

If you need your order for a special occasion that is less than 10 business days away, no problem!  We just ask you please let us know upfront when ordering, as to avoid disappointment.  

Please checkout online, then email us your order no, along with the date you need it by.

We will then confirm its been flagged and make sure it reaches you on time. 

 

I chose self-collection, when do I come get my order?

We will notify you via email as SOON as your order is ready for collection, as well as give you our address and collection times.

(please remember to check ALL Junk / Promotions Folders for these too!)

Our collection days are:

Mon - Fri:  Anytime between 08:00-16:00.

OR

Saturday collections are available between 09:00 - 12:00 by appointment. 

Please let us know if you intend to collect on a Saturday via email beforehand.

Why the R50 self collection charge for Jhb collections?

We recently moved our main production centre to Durban, thus most products will be made down in KZN now.

We then consolidate orders and ship them up to our Jhb store, so a small fee applies to Jhb self collections in order to get the items up there every week.

 

 Where do I leave my custom text?

There is a block on each product page where you can leave your custom text for that item.
For general notes on your order  eg: a date you need it by, there is also a block at checkout stage that says "add note to seller" where you can leave us any instructions or relevant info.

 

What are your delivery options and charges for the orders I place?

You can either choose to have your order couriered to you... or if you are in Johannesburg and Durban area and prefer to collect, that's not a problem!

We have both options on the checkout page.

We charge a flat shipping rate of R130 anywhere in South Africa, and free shipping for baskets over R1999. 

Please note for heavy orders (over 5kg) or very bulky orders, we reserve the right to charge for this additional heavy weight and volume.

 

What payment options do I have when checking out my order?

We offer a variety of payment methods through the popular and trusted PayFast interface. We can process MasterCard and Visa credit cards, Instant EFT (with South Africa’s four biggest banks), and Masterpass.

 

Can I be invoiced rather and EFT?

Yes of course!  Just email us the items you'd like to order, along with if you require shipping or not, and we'll email you an invoice with our banking details.

I'm having problems making payment! What do I do?

If you are experiencing problems with a payment, especially instant EFT, please get hold of Payfast directly: 021 300 4455  or support@payfast.co.za.

We have noticed that when choosing Instant EFT... if the wrong reference no is put in, or even copied pasted, your payment will be processed, but you wont receive an order confirmation, and neither will we!

In this instance, you need to email Payfast your Proof of payment (which can be found on your internet banking) and they will link your order to our store, and push your order confirmation through. 

 

What do I do if I ordered, but don't receive an order confirmation email?

Please get hold of us immediately to sort out.

(but please check your Junk folder first too! )

 

Who delivers my items?

We use the Courier Guy to deliver all our parcels.

 

Can I track my order once its shipped?

Yes!  We send you a shipment confirmation with tracking no as soon as your parcel has been logged with the couriers.

(Please check your Junk / Spam folder, as they sometimes end up there! Gmailers... please also check PROMOTIONS folders as sometimes email from our system end up there too!)

*Please also note! Once the goods have been handed over to the couriers, it will then be considered to be out of our control and any delivery issues that may arise thereafter will need to be taken up with the relevant courier directly. 

** Shipping address's can only be changed BEFORE the parcels have been shipped. Once they have left us we cannot change delivery addresses. 

 

 

Can I send my own courier to collect?

Yes you are more than welcome to send you own courier, but please make sure you send us a waybill to print and attach to the parcel. 

We are also not held responsible for any delays or shipment problems ,breakages or theft during transit, if you organise your own courier.

Uber collects are also welcome, but please send us all the details of the driver once its been logged, so we can look out for them. You can do this via the app or via whatsapp.

 


How safe is shopping on your store? Is my data secure and protected?

Online shopping nowadays is SO common, and things have come a long way…so there is no need to worry!


Champagne Occasions uses PayFast , which is a third-party payment processor that has the highest security classification for online transactions.

  

Do you have a refund policy?

If you aren’t getting any warm and fuzzy’s when your item arrives…we are so sorry!

We are happy to refund or replace your item, within 14 days of delivery or collection, if it is in its original condition, and clothing items are unworn.

 

*Please note - Personalized or Custom items can unfortunately NOT be returned, refunded, or exchanged. (Personalized items refer to items which have your name / surname / wedding date / custom text on them.)

How do you do your customization on the items?

We use a premium outdoor vinyl for all glasses, mugs and non-clothing items, and a heat transfer vinyl for all clothing items and chopping boards.

This is long wearing and durable, but please note our glasses and mugs are not able to be put in a dishwasher.


How can I get featured on your social media pages?
